Installation guide

You can add the Trioralab chatbot to any website with a single line of code. Copy your own embed code from your Dashboard (the “Embed code” section — it already contains your API key), then add it to your site following the steps for your platform below.

The embed code

It looks like this — YOUR_API_KEY is replaced by your real key (in the dashboard you can copy the complete, ready-to-use code in one click):

WordPress / WooCommerce

Easiest: the Trioralab plugin

Download it, install it, and paste your API key — no code at all.

Download the plugin (.zip)
  1. 1Download the .zip above.
  2. 2WP admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → choose the .zip → Install Now → Activate.
  3. 3Settings → Trioralab Chat → paste your API key (from the Dashboard) → Save. Done! 🎉

Or manually (with a header-code plugin):

  1. 1Install a plugin such as WPCode or Insert Headers and Footers (Plugins → Add New).
  2. 2Open the plugin’s settings and find the Header field.
  3. 3Paste the embed code and save. Done — the chatbot shows up on every page.

Editing the theme instead: Appearance → Theme File Editor → header.php, just before </head>. (Only if you’re comfortable with it.)

Shopify

  1. 1Admin → Online Store → Themes.
  2. 2On your current theme: … (three dots) → Edit code.
  3. 3Open theme.liquid and paste the code right before the </head> line.
  4. 4Save. Done.

Wix

  1. 1Dashboard → Settings → Custom Code (under Advanced).
  2. 2Click + Add Custom Code and paste the embed code.
  3. 3Choose All pages, place the code in the Head, then Apply.

Wix only allows custom code on sites with a premium plan and a connected domain.

Squarespace

  1. 1Open Settings → Advanced (or Developer Tools) → Code Injection.
  2. 2Paste the embed code into the Header field.
  3. 3Save. Done.

Can’t find the right field? Email us and we’ll add it for you.

Any other / custom-built site

Paste the embed code right before the closing </head> tag on every page where you want the chatbot (usually adding it once to the shared template/layout file is enough).

Check that it works

  1. 1Open your website in a browser (hard-refresh with Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R).
  2. 2The chat bubble appears in the bottom-right (or bottom-left) corner.
  3. 3Click it and ask a question about your products or services. If it answers, you’re all set! 🎉

Not showing up? Make sure the code is inside the <head>, and that you’ve synced your website in the Dashboard (your site URL → Sync).
